How to clean your car

Friday, August 28th, 2009

No matter if you have a ferrari or a fiat it does not always sparkle when you drive.

Follow the below tips to get the perfect was for your car:

1. rinse and wet the car with your hose on a strong jet setting
2. use a soft sponge or wool mit and very gently wipe over the car starting from the top and working down
3. clean your wheels with a brush and than with a hard sponge
4. rinse the car with your hose pipe on a slow setting
5. remove all rubbish from the inside of the car
6. remove all matts and wash if rubber or hoover if carpet
7. hoover the inside of the car including the seets and door pockets
8. wipe over the dash board with an interior cleaner

I am one of the lazy ones who takes it to a car wash but it is satisfying when done by yourself.

Dyson Hoover

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

I am sooo impressed with the new Dyson hoover with the ball, it is so easy to hoover my flat now as it is not the biggest it manouveres around items without having to go backwards and forwards.

I thought the old style was excellent but this one just goes up another level.

My friend has the Dyson Animal as she has got  3 cats and a dog so there is always animal hair on the rugs, carpet and furniture and it comes with lots of diffent floor setting so she can do her carpet, tile floors and rugs with ease.

I know they are very expensive so let me know if you have found a cheaper hoover which is just as good.

Volunteer cleans river and gets £480 bill

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

Shocking, shocking, shocking!

That is the only word i can use to describe a story that i recently read in the news.

Read below for the full story of what can happen if you want to clean up your community:

A keen angler who volunteered to clean up the polluted river Crouch at a park in Wickford Essex after getting permission from the Environment Agency and Basildon Council but was later told to pay £480 to get rid of 120 tyres as neither the council and environmental officer have refused to take responsibility for the rubbish.

It has now come to light that it is the responsibility of the land owner which is the council who have argued it was a “pollution control” matter for the Agency.

Agency chief Peter Rickett has now claimed Mr Hart did not ensure the council would take the rubbish. He added:

We are only responsible for clearing rivers if there is a flood risk.
So next time you want to do something for the community make sure you will not get charged for doing so.

So next time you want to do a good need think twice as you will not want to end up with a hefty fine!!!

Domestos Grot Buster

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I know it is a really sad topic of conversation to talk about over a glass of wine  but the other night me and my friends were comparing what cleaning products we all use as. Whenever i am round her house it always smells so clean and fresh but not a perfume fragrance way so i had to find out her secret and I was told that the best bleach at the moment is the new Domestos Grot Buster.

It is a “super thick bleach cleaning gel” and the slogan to go with the product is ‘Brilliant on the grime you can see, brutal on the germs you can’t”.

The bottle looks very similar to the toilet duck bottle and has a bent neck so is easy to apply bleach to your toilet but is meant to be amazing on sinks to stop the smell from stale water.

So i have now gone and bought a bottle and started using it in my own house and wow it really is amazing!

Do take my word for it buy it and let me know what you think…
